It is mid-winter in UK and temperature is hovering around Zero. Freezing during the night and slightly positive during the day.
The water in the pond for the Koi carps is not freezing because it is well agitated by the circulation pump and because the halogen light is running 24h and generating some heat. I have not logged the temperature of the pond (a coming project…) but I would assume that it is around 5 degres celsius on average.
